When I was 4 years old, my father worked the night shift and my mother slept alone. I would sleep in her bed with her to keep her company. One night after my father left, a man broke into our house and forced her into my bedroom. Now she’s one of the many rape statistics. This happened 20 years ago this November 21st. She had no means of defense at the time. To this day, she can’t sleep well or alone. Since then, I’ve taken an active interest in self defense products. Let’s just say that the very thought of an innocent woman being sexually abused, infuriates me.

The reasons I started selling Safety Technology products are as important to me as the true need for them is. I had an abusive husband and could not get help from the authorities. There was a lack of protection and varied verbal abuse toward my children for many years.

I had been searching and searching for some products to sell on eBay for quite some time. "Originally I was surfing the Internet looking for a business that made sense to me. That’s when I came across the Safety Technology Web page.
