Hidden Camera Rental ProgramSafety Technology is pleased to announce the launch of our new hidden camera rental program. Over the past 10 years, we've noticed that people wanting hidden cameras had a special purpose in mind for them, rather than a long time use. They think their spouse is cheating on them, someone is stealing money from their sock drawer, they think the maid is drinking their liquor or the babysitter is fooling around with her boyfriend in their bedroom. Whatever their reason, the hidden camera is usually only needed for a short time. So, we created this program to accomodate these people. Its also a nice way for you to make some extra money. You will also find that some people who rent a camera will end up buying it. So, this is a great way to sell cameras also. We've done most of the work for you. We've had a rental agreement professionally prepared for you. We've also compiled images and text you will need to build a hidden camera rental program web page. Or, if we built your website for you, you have the option of us building the hidden camera rental program web page for you. More about that later.
We decided to only offer the hidden cameras with built-in DVR for the rental program. The reason is that they are so easy to set up and use. There will be less customer service needed for your customers. We've not included cameras that would be difficult to box up like the tower fan and desk lamp. One other thing, we do not drop ship with the rental program. You will need to purchase the cameras you want to rent. You can start with just one or two cameras. You can always add more later. Below are the hidden cameras wtih built-in DVRs available for the hidden camera program.
Cameras Available for Rent • Alarm Clock Hidden Camera DVR Cameras include all necessary power supplies, video cables, SD Cards, remote control and instructions. If your customer has any problems with the equipment they can contact us during our normal business hours at 1-800-477-1739. Even though we are not renting the camera to your customer, we will supply any customer support needed. Just to be clear, you will buy a camera from Safety Technology and we ship it directly to you. We will not drop ship a rental camera to your customer. You will manage the shipping to and from your customer. I want you to fully understand what is involved in getting the camera to your customer. For online rentals, you will include a return label prepaid by the customer which means you will need a UPS or FedEx account. You can set-up either account online at http://www.ups.com or http://www.fedex.com. If you choose UPS, be sure to select the Internet Shipping Account and set it up for occasional pick-up to avoid weekly shipping fees. After that you can go online to create ship to and return labels. Both companies allow you to create and print labels online. To use UPS - you can call or go online and schedule a pick-up. The cost is $6.00 for same day pick-up or $5.00 for future pick-ups. You can also drop off the package at any UPS Store or UPS drop box. Can use any shipping box. To use FedEx - you can call or go online and schedule a pick-up. The cost is $4.00 for Express or $5.00 for Ground. You can also drop off the package at any FedEx, FedEx Office (formerly Kinkos) or FedEx drop box which are commonly found at Post Offices. You must use FedEx boxes for FedEx shipping. Below are the rental steps if you have a website and the camera is rented online: • Customer will select the hidden camera that fits their needs. Below are the rental steps if you have a brick and mortar store: • Customer visits your store and chooses a hidden camera. There is a fee of $97 for joining the Hidden Camera Rental Program. For the $97 you will be sent a CD with the following information and tools: • Legal Rental Agreement (delivered in Word format so you can edit it if you want) Instead of creating the hidden camera rental page on your website yourself, we can do it for you. If we built a website for you, there is a one time fee of $49 to set up the hidden camera rental page and the rental agreement and link to it from your home page and hidden camera category page. Of course, the CD will give you the sales copy, rental agreement and images to build the page yourself. Yes, if you only have the self defense products website, you can still do this. To have us build the web page for you, just put in a help ticket. We will only do this after you've purchased the hidden camera rental program.
