Susan Boyle Gets Her Chance
You may have already seen this video up on YouTube. Millions have. But, if you haven’t, watch it here. Its definitely a feel good moment. The comment I want to make concerns her statement that she never got a chance before.
I’m sure most of us have felt that way before. Felt like a victim. Never given a chance. I mention this to emphasize that this attitude exists with most people. They feel they are victims of their environment, circumstances and upbringing and therefore have legitimate excuses for not having what they want. This just isn’t true!
The idea of waiting for “the chance” to come to you is wrong. You must be the active one. You take chances, you don’t wait until they are given to you. You must be constantly on the lookout for opportunity and then you take action. Susan Boyle is 47 years old from a small, poor village in Scotland. She took care of her sick mother for most of her adult life. She is unmarried and lives alone with her cat. In fact, she says she’s never been kissed. I don’t know who pushed her to come on Britains Got Talent, but in so doing she took a chance. Because she did, her life will now change.
Enjoy the video. It is moving.

It is so wonderful to see someone as old as me pursue her life long dream and she was awesome! Would love to find out what she has sang since. She is an inspiration to women everywhere. Never give up your dream. It is never too late! God Bless Susan!

Truly amazing. She is the perfect example that you should never stop believing in yourself even if everybody else does. She has realized a dream that most would have given up on a long time ago. Not only does she have an amazing voice but she also picked the perfect song. Words cannot describe this lady

With tears in my eyes and a song in my heart I listened to Susan Boyel sing. Her voice has given a new hope for a new, bright world for all. I now fee free to believe that this world can be renewed with all the love Susan Doyel delivered with one smile, one song, her one life and her one dream. Thank you Susan for dreaming, for reaching and for winning. May we all be inspired by you and receive all that you are in our lives. God Bless you, you are a very special person.

I, along with most who have viewed this clip were brought to tears of joy and amazement. Susan Boyle is one talented lady.
Simon needs to bring her to the USA to preform on “American Idol” so our country can see and hear what real talent is. Some of the Idol contestants should have been dumped at the first audition.
This is the talent I am looking to see and hear. Who knew? and the expression on the faces in the audiance at first glance and during her performance were priceless. WE WANT MORE LIKE HER……….Congratulations on your new career Susan Boyle. I will stand in line to buy her first album… God Bless Her…

I haven’t shed a tear since my last dog died but this remarkable lady’s story and dynamic, angelic voice made me cry like a baby. I agree Simon should bring her to America and let more see and hear her.

Ever since I heard her amazing and gorgeous voice, saw her down to earth personality, one can’t help but, feel inspired by her and admire her. That comes to show that, not even ourselves are fully aware of the hidden potential that we’ve been granted and yet, we are to busy whining, wasting precious energy and time in trying to defend our sense of entitlement. So, there you go, here is why many of us end up amounting to nothing, just the way we arrived to life only at this end we no longer have time. Good for Susan! She is the Woman!

I am amazed how this woman has wakend up the world as to the talent that can come from anyone, anywhere. God Bless her.
Thank You Mike.

I am gobsmacked, as we say here in New Zealand. Awesome. My heart swelled and my eyes teared. Good on her! I don’t follow the show, but I wish her the best and I’ll definately try to follow up her success,

Here’s a woman who was denied her dream because she didn’t live up to our idea of beautiful. She’s obviously beautiful on the inside, and what a magnificent voice! I too shed many tears hearing her sing. If it weren’t for Britian’s Got Talent, we’d never have known this amazing woman. You go girl! I look forward to your albums.

Wow!!! Isn’t God awsome! He gives us all tallents and the one He gave Susan is enough for me to yarn for heaven when every day we will be able to sing like Susan and be inspired. Susan’s talent blesses every one who hears her! I loved seeing the look on Simon’s face when she opened her mouth and the first notes came out. Susan, go for it all the way. Congratulations, God bless, and thank you for sharing with the world. I’ll buy your album the moment it is offered.

I’ve always felt like the underdog…always having to fight and scrape, put up with negativity and ridicule from others. Maybe that’s why I like the challenge of being in business. I love a good challenge! You MUST always take chances in life, or else nothing may happen if you don’t. Great for Susan Boyle, all the best for her!
