Stun Monster 775 Freaks Out A Rottweiler

<< The Juice Is Headed Back To Florida  Are Cops Giving Tasers A Bad Name >>

I’ve never tried this, but it does make some sense.

Willie from Georgia wrote in with this story. He’s a delivery man for a big outfit and his turf has some undesireable areas. He’s been carrying the 775 for a couple of years, and pulled it once before when approached by a group of young thugs.

They decided not to invade his personal space.

Last week he just finished getting a signature for a large parcel and turned around. Standing about six feet away was a rottweiler who was squared up. Willie went to his waist and Rotty Dog growled his dissaproval.

Willie took a step forward, and Rotty Dog bared his teeth.

Willie hit the button on the 775 and let it cackle a couple of times.

He then made it cackle again as he took a step toward Rotty Dog.

Rotty Dog stared at him…then dropped his head.

“Beat it,” Willie said.

Rotty Dog ambled on down the street.

Willie walked back to van and called animal control. Surprisingly, they had a vehicle only a couple of blocks away, and came right out. They secured the dog in just a couple of minutes. Willie was relieved to see the dog off the street, because he knows how few folks would have been prepared for this encounter.

If you’re prepared, you’ll never be surprised,

Nice point about taking bad dogs off our streets. a 200 pound Great Dane recently severely mollested and attacked my lab and I, however despite everything done to report it because the animal was at the edge of condo association property all that was done was to accept my report and leave a note on the owners door.
I even sent , I warned animal control and the police it could have been a child or elderly, yet apathy reins supreme in good ol Fl, i even e mailed the mayor.

I can sue if I want , but thats it , was leaking blood from internal injuries for 3 days, yet no leash law applies! since it was just withing the condo association property where I had gone to a friends door and was departing as there was no answer.
My pup was on a leash, and the great dane covered 60 to 70 feet in about 2 seconds to pounce on us unprovoked.

everyday i see unleased dogs in florida roaming our neighborhood, we were attacked before by another unleashed dog and bitten the year before, yet still “It’s not a police matter,”
came the familiar reply. and animal control never looked for that dog either.
Anyone gong out walking in Florida should be aware and have a baton and mace, this is a rampant and largly ignored Florida problem and danger to all. i have a couple other loose dog attack experience here in good ol Florida that also were basically ignored.

The owner said I over reacted, I feel it’s the owner who needs to be held responsible, they should be pursued much more aggressively to get people paying attention to leash laws.
How can the police say this was not an assault?
I washed 2 piles of bloody laundry from the little 3 day incident and was outweighed by about 70 pounds, from a dog not taught any self restraint, who’s owner raised it to do just what happened.

Severe apathy from every way I view it,
beware SAINT AUGUSTINE walkers and bikers, no one is likely to care about what happens if a dog attacks you here.

On our next walk we go armed and due to the speed of dogs wont hesitate to put the animal down, although I feel it should be the owner! However we wont ever go unarmed in Florida again, theere are almost no streets where loose dogs do not roam at some point here,
I have even seen owners encourage this and tell us nose to nose, “That if we dont like it walk on another street,”.. I said I pay a fortune to live here, yet police and animal controll ignored this incident also from yet another aggressive large dog even when told the address.

Simply pathetic, pedestrians have ZERO protection here unless they are walking with a cop !
Animal controll post it stickers on a door wont help you after your attack, and you can bet that dog will be there again.
also beware once you dare complain of a dog attack, I am still hearing bs from the owner!
They say this is a good neigborhood, the houses across from us are almost all in the 2 million dollar range, the owners are insulated here from whatever the dogs do.

Corruption? Apathy? or what?

Walk armed!

I love it Mike! I had a women tell me that when her dogs try to run away, she pulls out an old stun gun and hits the button. The crackle stops the dog in their tracks. Maybe a Stun Master stun gun is good to have when you go for a walk, and just point it at the dog and let it crackle. Hahaha
