This article is terrific....makes it so eay to suggest to a retailer what he should sell products I supply for.....some want to mske 50%, and others are happy with 30%....depends on their overhead and square footage for displaying merchandisr....My websitw sales prices are cheaper, as I have no brick and mortar store.

Thanks for this entry, Mike. I could have figured it out myself, but appreciate it being layed out in front of me to save a bit of time. I'll use the formula to offer the pepper spray displays to my local shopkeepers.

I tell my retail customers that they can get $20 or $25 out of people who will buy these ON IMPULSE! I tell them that I will give them the sprays at ten bucks each (the PS-1) and if they want a couple of displays, I can go an even $100 per display!

The thing is, although Mike has chosen an MSRP of $9.95, you can get more for these sprays, because they are NOT sold on every street corner in America. Some people go to a convenience store and pay triple for a food item that it costs in a grocery store!

Some people will pay a store-keeper 20 bucks for a spray, rather than drive to the next county to a "gun store!"

It's true that there are jokers online selling pepper sprays for 8 bucks, 6 bucks, even 5 at times, BUT not everyone shops online, not everyone is comfortable using their credit card online. Some people don't even have a computer, believe it or not.

People who look for the lowest prices on the planet, may not be your customer, and even a shop keeper might not buy from you if you do it my way, but a good salesman doesn't have to give his goods away! I never do!

If I do meet a shop keeper who wants to haggle, then fine...I will drop the price down, but at least I am still making more for my efforts.

So, for anyone who has the balls...try it my way...offer them a display for a bit more, and when they re-order you can always give them a BETTER deal. It's easier to drop the price down, than to raise it up!

Have a Great Day and Happy Selling!
Mike, YOU'RE the GREATEST!

Many Blessings!
