For the past several months, we’ve been working on upgrading the voltage on the Runt stun guns and the Pretender cell phone stun gun. I felt this was necessary to keep you more competitive in the stun gun market.

The new higher voltage Runts and Pretenders are finally in stock. The Runts are now 2.5 million, 3.5 million and 4.5 million volts. The Pretender is 4.5 million volts.

These upgraded stun guns are in stock and ready to ship.

I’ve decided not to raise the prices. At least not for a while. The prices will be the same as they’ve always been. Just sell a ton of them and I will make it up on quantity.

There are new images for the Runt stun guns which you can find at http://www.safetytechnology.com/runtstungun.htm. The Pretender cell phone stun guns will keep the same model numbers. There are new model numbers for the Runt stun guns. They are:

RUNT-25 = 2.5 million volts
RUNT-35 = 3.5 million volts
RUNT-45 = 4.5 million volts
RUNT-45R = 4.5 million volts Rechargeable

A 68-year-old paroled bank robber who they called the “stun gun bandit” because he used a stun gun to rob, has been arrested after robbing his own bank.

Lester Robert Evans, 68, was arrested after LAPD investigators said they found evidence in his skid row apartment that helped tie him to a December boutique robbery. In that crime, Evans was captured on video shocking the young clerk with a stun gun, said LAPD Lt. Paul Vernon.

“We had a feeling this guy would surface eventually,” Vernon said. “It just turns out he decided to rob a bank where he had his own account.”

Police were called Tuesday to the Bank of the West branch at 2nd and San Pedro streets in downtown L.A. after it was robbed by “a white man in his 60s,” authorities said. Within minutes, officers had come up with the name of Evans, a local man who was on parole for bank robbery.

Detectives verified Evans was on parole and went to his apartment in the 400 block of East 7th Street on skid row. Detectives searched the apartment and seized evidence that linked the parolee to the bank robbery, as well as the boutique robbery, police said. Evans was booked for the bank robbery and held without bail for a parole violation.

The lesson here is never rob the bank where you have an account, go there regularly to cash your Social Security check, people know you and have your address on file.

There’s a serial rapist on the loose in Yoakum, TX and Cassandra McGinty has a new sequence when she arrives home: search room to room, with a stun gun in her hand.

The rapist has been attacking older women in central Texas during the past year, terrifying residents and frustrating the police who don’t have a good description to go on.

Pepper spray has been selling like hotcakes in the towns where the attacks have occurred, and McGinty said her landlord in Marquez handed out stun guns as Christmas gifts.

Beginning with the rape of a 65-year-old woman in Yoakum in January 2009, authorities have linked eight sexual assaults or attempted sexual assaults to the suspect.

Stun guns were once made with just one general design. The devices were made in a rectangular or square shape that was black or gray in appearance. These devices worked well, but many of today’s stun gun buyers want more in the designs of their stun guns. That’s where all of the newest shapes and designs come in.

Many people want to carry a stun gun but are worried that being seen with an obvious stun gun may cause them some problems with neighbors, co-workers or passersby. This possibility has led to the design of stun guns that look like something else. Some of these designs include stun guns that resemble cell phones. This allows someone to carry what looks like a cell phone, keeping the people around them from realizing that they have a weapon with them.

Other disguised stun guns are made to look like flashlights. They may have a light on them as well as having stun contacts in the front of the light area. This allows the users to carry a flashlight in the dark and then to use that flashlight to protect themselves with it as a stun gun if necessary.

Some people prefer a stun gun that is more obviously a stun gun. This allows them to show a potential attacker that they have a stun gun. If the design is unmistakable as a weapon, this may help to deter an attack before it happens. The idea behind this is to show the stun gun to the attacker by holding it in front of them and perhaps discharging it for a second to stop them before they get too close. These stun guns are usually large and black or gray in color.

For some women, they want their stun guns to show off their personal style just like any of their other belongings. There are pink stun guns on the market as well as other feminine colors and designs that can do just that. This may make some women more comfortable with carrying a stun gun and perhaps to become less intimidated with holding and using it.

Some stun guns are made in shapes that are easier to hold or in shapes that are easier to keep in a pocket or a purse. A longer, thinner stun gun can be slipped into a pocket and then retrieved easily if there is any trouble. Some larger stun guns have large cases that make it easier to pack them into bags or to carry them while keeping them covered. This can be an important option when the stun gun is being carried into a public place.

Stun guns come in so many shapes and sizes that there is one for every self-defense need. The main consideration is often the circumstances in which it will be carried. Some people need a stun gun to warn away others simply with its appearance. Others need one that can be well disguised so that they can carry it freely where ever they need to go.

Have you been looking to make some extra money? Did you know that you can make extra money selling something as simple as a stun gun? It's true. And the best part is that you can help people out while making a pretty decent living doing it.

Have you been looking to make some extra money? Did you know that you can make extra money selling something as simple as a stun gun? It’s true. And the best part is that you can help people out while making a pretty decent living doing it.

It’s a crazy world out there. There are people walking around who are in such desperate need of money that they turn to mugging in order to make a buck. Other people are so full of rage that they assault strangers just to vent. There are car thefts and even rapes. All of these crimes are in the thousands upon thousands every year. It’s sad, but it is definitely true.

Since the world is full of all these terrible things, people need to have something to defend themselves. Stun guns are the perfect tools for getting the job done. Why? Because they work! While stun guns may cause a lot of pain, it isn’t the pain that does the trick. It is the quick burst of electricity that has been stored in the stun gun that causes a lot of physiological changes to occur rapidly in the body. Not only does the stun gun overwhelm the attacker’s nervous system so that they lose balance, but they are also depleted of all the energy they would need to move.

People need stun guns so that they can defend themselves from attackers, but most people don’t know where to find them. If you think about it, do you know where you could get a stun gun? You might say that anyone could find them online. But the problem is that though people know that they should get something to defend themselves, they don’t always seek it out. This is bad for them, but it presents a unique opportunity for you because you can be the one to bring the product to them.

The key to selling stun guns is to be able to sell them to your customers at a fair price while still making a profit. In order to do this, you must be able to purchase stun guns at a wholesale price. If you can find a company that will help you do this, then all you have to do is take a magazine to people and show them the product. Once the chance to buy a stun gun is in front of them, they can’t help but think about how they need one for self defense. The stun guns practically sell themselves. Plus, if you want to make more than one sale at a time, then all you have to do is take your catalog full of merchandise to a local vendor like a gun store or a pawn shop. These vendors know that people want and need stun guns. They too want to help people protect themselves and get paid for that good deed.

Stun guns are widely carried self-defense products that are popular with women who wish to have some protection from attackers. There are many small self-defense products on the market that can be used on an assailant, but one of the most disabling to a potential attacker is the stun gun. Just a few seconds of contact with a stun gun can leave an assailant unable to stand or move.

Stun guns require no special training to learn to use them properly. They are less expensive than guns and are a more aggressive type of personal protection device than pepper spray. Stun guns are usually small enough to carry in a purse, and some are small enough to tuck into a pocket.

There are many stun guns that work with a wrist strap. This safety device means that the stun gun can’t be used if it is pulled away from the owner’s wrist. This enables a person to carry it without worrying about it being used against them by an attacker.

While some women find it daunting to pull the trigger on a gun, pushing the button on a stun gun doesn’t result in a kickback from the weapon. It’s also less damaging to an assailant, resulting in a non-lethal shock that is usually not permanently harmful.

It only takes coming into contact with the voltage of a stun gun for two seconds before a reaction is caused in the attacker. It can be used on any part of the body and cause the same effect, unlike pepper spray, which must be aimed directly in the face.

Some women use their stun gun as a defense weapon from farther away by pressing the button and letting a potential attacker see the sparks of electricity flow between the contacts. This can help a woman to avoid an unnecessary confrontation without having to actually use the device on the assailant.

With the many types of stun guns on the market, women can choose tiny models that will fit into a clutch purse or larger ones that will deliver more power. Some young women take them to college to prevent dangerous incidents from occurring on campus. They are light enough to be tucked into a backpack or carried on top of a stack of books.

Many women who carry stun guns feel safer about working late at the office or about a commute that can be unpredictable. Having a small weapon to use gives some women peace of mind when they are feeling nervous about their surroundings.

Another reason that many women prefer to use stun guns over using a handgun is that the effects of a stun gun are non-lethal, making them safer to keep in the home. If a family member were to get a hold of a stun gun and use it accidently, the device would not result in permanent injury or worse. After a few minutes, the person would simply recover from the jolt.

What would you do if someone came up to your car and opened the driver side door, prepared to pull you out and steal your car?

What would you do if someone came up to your car and opened the driver side door, prepared to pull you out and steal your car? Would you be prepared to defend yourself against such a person? Stun guns are wonderful because they help people defend themselves when there is no other option.

People need to be able to defend themselves because there are far too many people out there who aren’t quite in the right state of mind. There are vandals and car thieves. There are muggers and rapists. There are some people who just aren’t in touch with reality and may strike out at any time in a violent way. Everyone must be prepared.

Stun guns enable even the most defenseless people to defend themselves. Furthermore, not only do stun guns enable such people to defend themselves, but they can defend themselves extremely well because stun guns are very effective self defense weapons.

When stunned by a stun gun, the attacker can’t help but fall to the ground. Their entire body uses up all of its available energy when the high voltage shoots through their bodies at low amperage. This, coupled with a shock to the nervous system and a good dose of pain, incapacitates an attacker for up to several minutes. This kind of down time is vital for the person being attacked. Not only does it help them get away, but it can also help the police have time to catch the perpetrator.

Many people think that it is dangerous to have a stun gun because the attacker might take it away and use it on the person that they are attacking. But most stun guns have a safety mechanism that is built into it. This mechanism usually takes form in the wrist strap. The wrist strap is plugged into the stun gun and the stun gun will cease to work if the strap is pulled out of it.

Most people realize that they need to defend themselves and some of them go out and buy guns and bullets. However, guns are extremely dangerous as well as lethal. There are many innocent people who die every year from accidents with guns. But with a stun gun, if there is an accidental “misfire” and you stun yourself, you will only wake up a little groggy.

Stun guns are fairly priced and you can find them a number of places. The primary places that you would find them are gun stores or on the Internet. Occasionally you can find them in sporting good stores, but not always. If you are looking for the best deal on stun guns the best place to look is online. Online you can purchase stun guns at a wholesale price, rather than the full retail price like you would at a store.

Stun guns are non-lethal weapons that are sometimes used as personal security devices for self-defense. These weapons use a high-voltage current that is activated by the user when an attacker or aggressive person is physically threatening the person with the stun gun.

Stun guns generally have two contact points that are used to deliver the voltage to the attacker. In most stun guns, the contacts must be held in contact with the skin for at least a few seconds in order to produce a response in the attacker. Most stun guns on the market will also go through clothing and don’t have to be held against the attacker’s bare skin.

When a stun gun is used for personal defense, the owner pushes a button to start the electric current when the attacker comes too close. Stun guns can be used to shock the attacker, causing a startled reaction that can give the stun gun owner a chance to get away from the attacker before any other aggressive actions are taken. In other cases, stun guns are used to cause a more dramatic reaction to the attacker.

The severity of the reaction that a person has when shocked with a stun gun varies depending on the voltage of the device and the length of time that it’s held in contact with a person’s skin or clothing. It can also vary according to the amount of clothing that is between the stun gun and the attacker. Thicker clothing can mean a less severe reaction or one that takes much longer to be felt.

When a stun gun is activated, the current passes from the stun gun and enters the body of the attacker, affecting the person’s nervous system. The voltage then enters the muscles, causing much of the reaction that is felt. A person who receives a shock from a stun gun will have an immediate muscle reaction. This reaction causes the body’s muscles to move rapidly, resulting in a gyrating, seizure-like reaction in the attacker. The more intense the shock, the more the muscles react and the harsher the reaction of the rest of the body.

Being in contact with the stun gun’s voltage for several seconds will cause the attacker’s muscles to react violently enough to cause the body to use up its store of blood sugar. This is what causes the attacker to lose the ability to move. This involuntary lack of movement is where the name of the weapon gets its name. If the shock is more intense or lasts for a longer period of time, it can cause the assailant to lose consciousness.

A shock, a stun or a loss of consciousness will not result in any permanent bodily damage for the attacker. The effects of coming into contact with the voltage generally only last for a few minutes or less. This brief reaction time gives the stun gun owner a chance to get away from a dangerous situation and get to safety.

Stun guns are small electrical devices that provide personal protection for those who carry them. They are non-lethal under most circumstances and are often carried by women who want an extra measure of protection when they are alone.

In areas where stun guns are legal, there are generally no licensing requirements and no courses are offered in stun gun safety. This makes it important for each stun gun owner to take the time to familiarize themselves with the way stun guns work and how they should handle their stun gun for the most effective personal protection.

The first thing to do when a stun gun is purchased is to look over the device itself to become familiar with the important components. The button that activates the electric current should be located as well as the two contact probes that dispense this current. The probes are what will be held against an attacker in order to deliver the shock to them. Knowing exactly where they are will prevent the stun gun owner from accidentally shocking themselves when using it or testing it. Be sure to stay away from the contact probes, never touching them in order to avoid an accident.

Once these key parts are identified, the owner should make sure that the battery has enough power. Testing the stun gun periodically by holding it in the air and pushing the button will let the owner know whether the battery is still good. Having a stun gun with a dead battery can be dangerous for those who count on their stun guns for protection.

If a situation arises that calls for the use of the stun gun against an assailant, the stun gun must be close at hand in order to grab it quickly and use it. Plan out a place to keep it for just this type of emergency. Keeping it in a pocket or held onto the wrist with a strap will keep it close by. In a real emergency, there will be no time to dig through a bag to find the stun gun and prevent someone from committing violence.

Before discharging the electric current, make sure that your fingers or any other part of your body are not in contact with the current probes. The object is to shock the other person to allow the stun gun holder to get away. If both parties are shocked, the stun gun user may not get away safely.

The assailant holding on to the stun gun owner does not mean that the current will pass through both parties. Only direct contact with the probes will cause a shock. If the stun gun owners can’t shock the assailant without shocking themselves, they should wait for an opportune moment to do so instead of risking a shock to themselves. Some owners have scared away attackers simply by holding their stun guns in the air and activating the current. This may work in a situation where the attacker can’t be reached with the stun gun.
